water in engine
i have a new engine ran about 30 minutes then put rest of car together i'm about to drive it for 1st time decided to change oil first in case of any shavings. it has been about 2 months since starting when i went to drain oil the first little bit as i was pulling plug looked and smelled like antifreeze but it was so little it would have not filled up a shot glass should i worry about this.the car is sitting back so this would be the very bottom of the oil pan thanks zano

YES!! I destroyed a new big block chevy like this. My problem was a bad casted intake manifold. It had some pores on the gasket side and the antifreeze eventually made it through the intake gasket. Locked up the oil pump and kaboom! It will start as a drip then once the waterpump builds pressure it will blow. Check your intake gaskets. I dumped $5000 in the toilet.

i filled it with water i'm putting 20 # of air on right know also i ran the electric water pump just came from the garage it's dripping oil from the pan once every 6 minutes. i'm hoping tomorrow morning it isn't dripping anymore. when i first got the engine i ran about 30 minutes when i turned it off checked intake bolts they were lose one wasn't even threaded in i hope that was the problem I' ll be praying tonight. thanks zano
