NOS Ford 5.14 Gears... Rare or Not So Rare ???

The box has EDSEL printed on it next to the other lines of the day, so the box is from the right time period. Maybe they were try'n to unload a mountain of obsolete cardboard printed with EDSEL and sent a truck of the stuff over to their "performance" division instead of the landfill..... LOL.

Here's the pic of the actual gears. In spots there's a wee bit of surface rust from years of garage storage. Ford part numbers are stamped on both. My 70 year old gear head racing buddy of mine confirms they've never been on a car.
