Should just remove it, no need to have it there. Do you run a crank trigger ?

You're running a front mounted tank,(right), also is the line feeding the pump at least a #10, also is the pump mounted below or level with the bottom of the tank. I had a friend who had the pump mounted too high, and on one run he forgot to refil the tank between rounds, luckly the other guy redlite, and my friend ran 4 ths slow, pulled plugs checked everything, not popping or anything. Then he slapped himself in the head, filled the tank and went right nack to the previous #'s. He's since remounted the pump below the bottom of the tank.

Just a thought

O'K partner, i was just checking, very well could be MSD problem, i had a new 2 step that was bad once , and the car sat on the line and jumped up and down on the trans brake without breaking the beams, i have a vid of it but i'm too embassased to post it, took 3 trips to the track before i figured it out. I'm the opitidy of stupidity, and now i have a spare of everything, but i might not be able to figure it out in time to race the same nite. O'h by the way do run a 4.1 toilet bowl so i am familar with them.
