I have a 468 in a 3600 lbs 66 Chevelle. I picked a 268-272 .697-.731 earson camshaft. Car leaves really well"1.36 60 ft on the back tires and runs 6.16-6.18 all day. I have a set of out of the box Edelbrock rpm performer square port heads, 13.3 comp, 400 turbo 5800 converter.....
I am definately impressed with these #'s, that grind looks like a nitrous grind. i thought we were doing pretty good on a pump gas no nitrous 468, 10.2 compresssion with a 3700lb Biscyne with street slicks, running 10.70@122 and 6.70, 1/8mi. with a 1.47 60', but if you're not running addatives/nitrous, you're definately blowing us in the weeds and i better get my act together.
