I just think it's interesting how the Dems are basically up O's butt - holding this nation hostage because they want what they want and they refuse to negotiate.
Whole thing is nothing short of a hostage situation - AND - as with typical hostage taker mentality - it's the fault of the people the hostage taker is making demands of.
I hope the House doesn't give in on this one - the longer the shutdown, the worse it looks for little "o" and his ilk.
One parenting rule - don't EVER give in to a temper tantrum - because if you do, they continue doing it, and each one gets worse.
Let the sonofabitch hold his breath and turn every shade of blue and purple there is - just don't give in. Just as parents don't negotiate with a demanding toddler, the people should not be giving in to the toddler in chief. Just sayin'....

While everything you say is correct, in the public's perception, you're exactly 180° wrong . . . The Democrats have had the MSM on their side for over 50 years. When Richard Nixon got his tit in the wringer over Watergate and his attempted influencing an election, the press had him a heartbeat away from Impeachment. That's why he resigned. He didn't want the laundry to be hung out.
But compared to O'Bozo? Nixon was nothing more than a bumbling third rate crook.
If Obama was a Republican, he would have never made it to his Re-election. He'd be in Jail, as would Valery Jarret, Rahm Emanuel, 90% of his first cabinet and most of his staff . . Not to mention a good share of the D.C. DoJ . . And Ben Bernacke!
But he's not, He's a Democrat, and no matter how corrupt he and his are and will be, unless he axe murders both his kids on the White House Steps, with cameras running, he's gonna slide . .
He might even then, if he has Bill Clinton for his Lawyer!
