I’m just reading through this because the topic hits pretty close to home. I don’t have direct experience hiring a caregiver yet, but my neighbor went through something similar with his mom, and I remember how much trial and error there was at the beginning. A lot of it seemed to come down to patience and figuring things out step by step, not all at once. From the outside, it looked like once they stopped rushing and started asking more practical questions, things slowly fell into place. Threads like this are helpful even if you’re just observing and learning ahead of time.
