Sad loss of a great racer.
 

We lost a great guy,racer,and father of 3 boy,s. Mike romeo was involved in a violent car crash in his 8.50 camaro while he was taking it for a test ride .He was 10.00 champ and leading the point's in 8.50 class . He was a super guy willing to help anyone out that needed it on and off the track,he will be missed. He was married with 3 young boy,s ,so please keep him and his family in your thought's. There is a great write up about him in Dragzine,also many pages of rip's on Yello bullit. :cry:

sad news... but he died doing what he loved too ... he will be in my prayers

I never knew him, but I followed it on YB. Sad. I'm sure not many guys wear a helmet on the highway, but the roll cage that protects your life on a drag strip becomes a serious hazard when out cruising on the highway without a helmet.

it happened off track? his head hit the roll cage?

No helmit ,was driving on the street,broad sided ,he had a funny car cage thats what killed him. I would put up a pic of the car but don't know how on here.

Very sad news we have lost way to many this year alone .
we will keep him and his family in our prayers.
