Im needing parts for my 81 camaro. I know this is the last year for 2nd gen. car. how far back can I go for parts like door pannels ,dash,windsheild,innerfendderwells, ect. Thanks Jack

To 1970 on most stuff. As with any model, changes during it's production life is the kicker. But what you listed is pretty much interchangeable...

Look for 78-81 parts cars. Other years will fit but wont match well. Sign up for this forum

Mostly 2nd generation Camaro owners and there is always someone selling parted out cars in the swap meet section. They also have guys with excellent knowledge of those cars.

glass is like 75 up
interior (most Parts) 70 up
gauges are like 78-79
