car won/t shut off
 

68 mustang 302 dist. has points changed the alt. car shut off 3 times after that but now won/t shut off with key thanks brad

sloppy ignition switch? the tabs would break off on the back of the ignition cylinder and would engage to start but not disengage to turn off the power...

if you went to a different type alternator you will have to put a diode in the ign wire going to alt
