RONS . TERMINATOR add number 2032803 his name is berettagt. Ipayed him for the rons with a telegraphic transfer into his wifes account when he received the money he said he would send the part and a tracking number.
I havn't received anything from him and its been a month now so i think i've
been ripped off.He won't answer his phone won't call back doesn't answer emails. Does anybody know anyway i can chase it up any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Notice that there is no profile picture( Mopar1968):wink: and he has very limited information. He tried to friend request me, I did not approve.

Sounds like you got scammed, I would go to your local police file a report, and a lot of times (depending on the amount of money or number of complaint volume) The FBI will have jurisdiction over thefts using wire transfers.

julianthe3rd You are right and i have contacted his local law enforcement, they are going to see him and see if he will put things right if not its the FBI that can deal with it and him and his wife can do some jail time for wire fraud and i hope they enjoy it.

FYI, dont have too much faith in your local law enforcement doing much. FWIW Im a cop and was scammed out of $6500 with a stolen CC when I had my shop. I actually worked with the NYPD's detectives brother who had the case, and still the D.A. would not move forward with the case cause it was only $6500....You believe that crap??

So your keeping his deposit? How much of a deposit did he send? Have you contacted him in the meantime? Have you answered his calls? And just an FYI, Police or Sheriff's dont get involved in civil matters and give advice, so thats bull$hit pal.

Just an FYI take it for what its worth. Keeping someone deposit is illegal unless he signed or entered a contract where he was clearly informed and agreed it was non refundable. What your doing is theft.

If you need a shoulder to cry on I'm here for you. Anyone who keeps a deposit on someone is a real scuba in my book. Shows the level of integrity of that person.

I've been watching this out of curiousity and the OP never said whether he sent the full amount or not. If not what is his level of integrity? Not trying to stir the pot just throwing that out. I think if a deposit is to be sent back to the buyer then some of it should be kept for time / trouble and or missed sales.

I worry a lot about the things I buy off of RJ and I have been lucky and never been scammed. I feel for those who have. I also feel for those who have been dragged through the mud unjustly. Sometimes the truth is in the middle and if the seller doesn't know someone has accused them on the forum they can appear guilty when they are not.

Again just wondering where the middle line of truth is.

I have been away for 2 days is why no posts.I sent the scammer $1460.00 for parts and freight.In the add the price was $1400.00 buyer pays shipping, shipping was $60.00 i sent$1460.00 The scammer changed the price on the 12/08/10 call racing junk and they will tell you that he changed the add then, the price now is $1850.00.He had 2 adds at the same time 1 add had price at $1450.00 he pays shipping I have a email from racingjunk of his add before he changed the price.Ihave tried to call this guy over 20 times he doesnt answer when i call and i sent him an emal through racingjunk that he wouldnt answer. Ihave a receipt of wire transfer.

Guy's i know this has been said many time's , But it look's like R.J could step in on something like this where someone prove's he/she has paid for good's and doesn't recieve them. It just doesn't make sence for this to happen over and over again. The guy has proven two ad's with two different price's. Well that about settles it, Sounds like you got scammed my friend. If it were me I would post up all of this guys personal info possible, name,address,email,phone,bank account number, just for all to see.

The $1450.00 price was posted 7 min. after the $1850.00 price with all the pics.
