Nice looking Mopar. But I think someone sold you the stripes for a Gremlin.
|
Ya know Mark, I could loan you my wife on every other weekend and you could build her a car too!!
|
Well to answer the first question, I have two garages one here and another about 7 miles away. I told my wife that we are atarting to work on saturday's at the dealership so i go to work but on her car. To answer second question 0.30 440 with stealth heads, pump gas engine for street use. Chris i would love too but one is enough :!:
|
Looking good Mark. Is that the car you were looking for a dash pad for?
If so let me know if you still need one. I have a friend who has one that he might part with it is a complete rally dash. |
Note to self...dont let wife sign on to rj and see marks wifes car....she will expect me to do the same.
|
Yes Mike i still could use one :!: :!:
|
Now you know you're gonna have to video her seeing the car for the first time and post it for us to see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

|
Mark,
What a fine project!! Love that color too. Your wife is going to love it. Nice car!! |
I agree 100%, Mark !!
You're doing the Mopar badge justice with that one !! You have any in-progress pics anywhere ? Tell us the specs ! How long you been on this one ? |
I have owned this car for 10 years, Did some bracket racing with it , it had a 511 big block, Three years ago i talked to a great restoration guy, the car was complete except for fuel cell in trunk, he removed all racing parts, installed new trunk pan, took body apart piece by piece. Painted body shell every crack got painted.New body plugs all factory parts no after market parts what so ever. This guy is good. So far in the body is $10,000. I am puting a 0.30 440, callies crank, bill miller rods, ross 11.1 pistons,440 sourse stealth heads,585 comp roller. Just a good street pump gas engine.3500 coan convertor,8 3/4 with 391. will post more pics as i make progress :!: Thank all of you for the nice comments believe me my wife is worth every penny spent for putting up with me all these years. she has gave up alot racing with me and helping out with my race car's :!:I told her three years ago that i was selling it because we had too many car's but it went to shop instead :!:

That's gonna be a cool azz street car. If it were me I'd put a 2010 Camaro front clip on it   Just kidding  |
Yeah Rabbit it is for her i allready have a 67 dart with a 472 big block for street use :!: She like's the racy sound of a street car, power when she want's it so i figured why not give her the best of both worlds :!: :!: Now on the camaro thing she want's a new Challenger i told her one day i liked the look's of the new camaro better [just joking with her of course] She came unglued and said not in my driveway :!: :!:

Just a update on the Challenger, Completely rewired, engine done, trans done, rearend done all installed. I have put everything else on hold to get this done for Mopar show. It is dirty sitting in shop but will be cleaned before she get's it.
