What Does Everyone Think About a Ms. RJ Contest or Calender?
 

I am not trying to cloud up the waters, especially after all the discussions about questionable picture postings on RJ,

BUUUTTTTT?????????????

How bout a “Ms. RJ”?.

Ms RJ could attended car shows, racing events, etc. throughout the US, providing community services on off dates and visiting manufactures of high performance parts, their suppliers, chassis builder shops etc. An video or televised interview of sellers, manufactures, builders, etc would help the members of RJ to become more familiar with the suppliers listing parts for sale.

Ms. RJ would or could possibly become as respected and symbolized as Ms. Hurst back in the day.

I believe this would have a very positive effect for RJ by increasing community relations and largely increase the new member enrolment.

Or provide a yearly calendar called the ladies of RJ. This would showcase real female members of RJ posing in front of old and new muscle cars and rat rods of today and yester year. The cars they are posing in front of could also be Owned or built by RJ members.

It just seems that this is a missing piece of the puzzle RJ needs to make its step into the future while remembering the past history of hot rodding, muscle car building, restoration and fabrication from circle track racing, to drag racing. It's always been about Good Looking Cars and Hot Looking Gals posing along side them.

But don't you think this would bring RJ some good publicity, provide additional marketing strategies, etc to the RJ Site and its members.

Yep, no harm done there. I am in to blondes... curvey, happy, with all of the ingrediants to make a man melt... southern draw a plus... like Marylin Monroe types.

i think its a Great idea..but as all of us has done Seen in the not so distant past..what some of us see as a Hot lady some see as distasteful Porn..


sort of reminds me of the Mid 70's when KISS was making their mark on the rock and roll scene...Most of us saw them ( and still do) as good ole rock and rollers and some were chanting Knights In Satans Service...

It wouldn't have to be half naked girls, it could be everday women that are members on here taking photos with their car. Hell you could even have them wear a racing suit so that no one gets offended. I like the idea.

yea we should have the women on rj on the calender and have
them in bikinis no ok maybe in shorts, no ok maybe in a race suit

considering RJ deleted my whole gallery yesterday for no apparent reason...the only calendar they would publish would be of chicks wearing full firesuit, neck collar, gloves, AND helmet.

Is there a problem having a Bikini clad woman wearing a sash with the name Ms. Race Junk for " such and such " a month. Bikini clad woman are a far cry from pornography and have nothing in common.

Agreed. For crying out loud, "Mrs America" has a bikni segment that all of America sees. Tillman/robsbird were GAY.... that is why we had the problem (just jokin'...ahh, not really). And you are absolutely correct, When Danika &/or Miss America pose and strut down the runway in a small bikini, they do this in a tasteful and acceptable manner. Yeah it just so happens they have killer bodies, but I think, what a lot of us may overlook or take for granted is the level of professionalism symbolized in such a pictorials or runway shows.

In many ways their pictures are not viewed as smutty, trashy or lewd. These pics, by most viewers could very easily be considered somewhat tasteful and can be viewed without the presence of lewd thoughts, but viewed as beautiful swim suit model representing a name brand, product line and reveered as a mirror of excellence &/or a pinnacle of achievement.

I really think it is up to the guys & gals of RJ to bring this issue regarding the caliber of pics posted full circle, onto a higher professional level and playing field. This may bring great opportunities to some of the gals here on RJ and maybe even boost their chances with a modeling career. Crazier things have happened and you have to admit there are some very beautiful gals here on RJ, Hands Down!

I don’t know about you, but sometimes the more one has to imagine, the better the pictorials. (No pun intended) LOL. Besides, once you give up the milk all you have is an empty container. JMO

We will need to have some rules though...

1) All entries must compete with headlights on ( for safety)
2) There must be a MAXIMUM weight for both SB and BB entries
3) All equipment must have been original to the specific make and
model.(headlights excluded)
4) All entries must have a full grill
5) NO stick shifts

I'm all for it. RJ could sell them and that would be another way to support this site. Hell, look at all the "FAMILIES" that eat at H :shock: :shock: ters. RJ could keep half the money and give the other half to a charity, that way we can say it is for a good cause. :roll:

At the risk of sounding like a dumba** , can someone tell me how to get a picture to post on the forum ? I have tried several different ways and I cannot get it to work . I think the site wont let you .

You probably have to dump some pics in web sites like photo bucket, click on IMG twice and insert the direct link between markers

Making a calender is a great idea but also quite expensive undertaking.

Do your homework folks if you venture into this little project but also be aware of the legalities behind posting any-one's photo. I do some sports Internet work and you wouldn't believe the hoops or open ends that can hit you. Any royalties is also open to collection from the person in the photo unless you have complete waiver releases signed off.

The next part now, if such a calender comes to life I have an idea for money's that may come from it. Racing guy's are not immune to what is sweeping this globe financially so maybe helping out any forum members who are hitting hard times should be considered.
