I'm selling what I consider the ultimate nostalgia mopar. I've been drag racing off and on for 60 years but now its time to retire, at least that's what my wife tells me. I am not going to give you a long song and dance about all the stuff this car has. If you like what you see you will call. But briefly its a 572 aluminum Keith Black block, 14.5 to 1 compression, CP pistons, Bullit racing cam and new valve springs, Ray Barton crossram, 780 Holleys. The car is all steel(except the hood) and weighs 3500 lbs. The heads are rather special in that they were built for me by Dick Landy in the early 90's. Check out the DLI stamp in the photo page. They are the dual plug heads mopar produced for racing back then. The intake valves are 2.350 and 1.94 exh. The 727 trans with trans brake and reverse valve body was built with all the best parts and a 5500stall speed converter with a aluminum drive shaft, dana 60,with 4.10 gears. The engine is very fresh with just 7 dyno pulls and just 3 quarter mile runs. The last run was a 9.40 at 143. Thats not too bad heavy car. Sure, I could make a 100 more horsepower was a tunnel ram, but that ruins the nostalgia effect. This thing has alot of mid -range power and I like to keep the RPM at 7000. Call or text for more info, and absolutely NO TRADES.
